Beware and do your research before purchasing

Do your research and be careful purchasing a microwave. I purchased one of their NeoChef microwaves back in 2022. The push button for the handle broke as well as one of the light diodes for the final digit of the clock/timer. The 8 looks like a zero and the only numbers that show correct are the 1 7 0. I called for customer support and was told that since I didnt purchase the extended warranty I could order parts but they dont service microwaves. All of my appliances are LG and I have never had issues with their quality until my microwave. I was very disappointed in their response as purchasing parts would cost almost as much as a new unit. This is also a reason I would never purchase an extended warranty on a microwave. I was informed that the heating system has a 10 year warranty but that they would only warranty the parts not any service that would be required to replace the needed parts.

I bought this directly from lg.com with free shipping. Shipping was fast. Large interior of microwave is a real plus. Controls are easy to understand. Cant say enough good things about this microwave. I also ordered the trim kit for this model. One note....not in the manual....if the microwave displays Food it means it doesnt know you put the food in earlier and are now just entering the cooking time....so you must open the door first so it knows it now has food in it. Smart microwave.... Enjoy

Magnetron failed after only three years

Purchased at Bestbuy. The magnetron failed after three years. Despite the 10-year warranty for the part online service did not provide a local service center or other instructions. Labor and diagnostics cost more than a new microwave. Very disappointed with LGs poor quality and unwillingness to repair or replace the microwave.

Bought from Best Buy with a trim kit. Nice looking and pretty easy to install. Had good mw cooking coverage.Stopped working after very light use in 7 months. Off shore LG Customer service was complicated and slow slow to respond. Replacemant on the way after a months of back n forth. Unable to get a warraty call or return to Bes Buy. No zero compensation for the time and cost of labor to remove or replace or time without service. These are the facts

Nice an roomy

This was to replace a similar LG that we loved It is very nice and roomy has sensor heating/cooking and is easy to clean. I have a harder time hearing the notifying beeps/chimes and it has a definite hot spot. Other than those two not so good things we are pretty happy with it.

Miss the Panasonic One Minute button

The door latch is smooth and opens easily verses the old Panasonic. The keypad takes a bit more pressure and the chime is too quiet. I like the looks of this microwave except I would have place the clock higher it would look better. Functionally this microwave works great but I have not needed any of the Sensor functions yet.
